Safer Internet Day Celebration Event
On 5 February, the UK Safer Internet Centre hosted an event at Microsoft’s offices to celebrate 10 years of Safer Internet Day.
The UK Safer Internet Centre launched the findings of the Have your Say survey which reached over 24,000 young people from the across the UK. Twenty primary and secondary age children who took part in the focus groups came to the event to share their views on online rights and responsibilities. The event also heard from children’s minister Edward Timpson about the responsibility we all have to ensure young people are safe online.
