Safer Internet Day reaches 1,000 Supporters
We are delighted to announce that the Safer Internet Day supporters list has reached over 1,000 supporters!
The supporters list showcases what activities are taking place across the UK to promote the safe and positive use of technology.
A wide range of registered supporters have pledged to get involved in delivering Safer Internet Day activities; including schools, charities and police services across the UK and Premier League football clubs such as; Bournemouth, Everton, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Middlesbrough and Stoke City.
Already we have seen 95 companies register as supporters, including; BT, Facebook, Google, Lego, Lloyds Banking Group, Snapchat, Super Awesome, TalkTalk, Telefonica, and Three.
Other key supporters on the list include; Barnardo’s, CEOP, the Children’s Commissioner for England, the Department for Education, NASUWT, the NSPCC, NUT, the Scottish Government, TES, and Unicef.
With their incredible support, we know that Safer Internet Day 2017 is going to be bigger than ever!
We are also excited to announce the launch of our 2017 SID Stars page. Three stars have already put their support behind the #SID2017 campaign, including the Safer Internet Centre Ambassador Beth Tweddle.
