Safer Internet Day 2015

Tuesday 10th February 2015

This year’s theme will be 'Let's create a better internet together', building on last year's campaign and offering the opportunity to focus on both the creative things that children and young people are doing online, as well as the role we all play in helping to create a better internet.

Safer Internet Day is organised in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in February of each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.

How to get involved

Whether you're a school, youth group, company, charity, police force or local authority, it's easy to get involved in Safer Internet Day!

Over the coming months we will launch a range of resources to help you get involved, including banners, films and quizzes, as well as Schools Packs for primary and secondary schools, and a resource pack for parents.

Ideas for getting involved:

  1. Reach out to young people, parents and carers in your school, youth group or workplace
  2. Promote the day on social media using #SID2015
  3. Add a banner to your website  (Coming soon!)
  4. Join the Supporters List  (Registration will open in October!)
